We're delighted to welcome Tiernan Hawley to Procurement Hub as our new Strategic Customer Partnership Lead.

Tiernan joins the business at an exciting time and will play a key role in strengthening relationships with members, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring Procurement Hub continues to deliver value across its growing network. Working closely with colleagues, members, and stakeholders, Tiernan will help shape our customer engagement strategy and support our long-term growth ambitions.

To help our members get to know him better, we asked Tiernan a few questions.

What attracted you to the Strategic Customer Partnership Lead role?

Procurement Hub is a business that I have worked with on and off for several years.

When I had the chance to meet the senior leaders in the business, the energy, ambition and growth plan excited me. So, when the opportunity arrived to take on a national role to work alongside and support our people and be part of the growth plan for Procurement Hub, I snapped at the chance.

A key factor and a USP that really appealed to me was our ‘Giving Back Initiative’ with real focus on making a difference to the people we work with, families we support and Communities in which we live.

What will your role involve?

My role involves supporting our strong team of Client Relationship Managers on a national basis, increasing our position in the market with more visibility and presence, actively supporting our existing members, suppliers and partners whilst engaging with new regional and national customers to support our exciting growth plan.

What are you hoping to achieve in your first year?

Develop and support the personal growth plans of our Client Relationship Managers. While expanding key relationships of our existing members and suppliers Nationally.

Actively look to engage and support new Customers with their projects. Providing them with the easiest and most effective way to market with early engagement and professional services, advise and support of our members and partners.

In turn support our growth and plan to be framework provider of choice.

What's one thing people should know about you?

I pride myself on being a people person, with energy, enthusiasm and very positive approach to work and life, empowering people where needed, with trust and support to develop individually.

The success of any project is much more than the service we provide or projects we deliver, but the people we work with, journey we take and legacy we leave, is what drives me every day.

How do you like to unwind outside of work?

Married with an older Son and Daughter I like to spend quality family time, when possible, with my Wife and kids, eating out, and holidaying.  Most recently road tripping across France in a 4-seater with 4 people tent and equipment which was cosy, saving space of course for some of Frances finest souvenirs.

Aside family and travel, I do enjoy most sports, but mainly Football, Golf and Cricket, (mostly watching now) I keep my self fit in the Gym (sometimes), on a bike, or running (again sometimes!)

I really enjoy a nice walk with our family dog for a chance to switch off and step back every now and then enjoying her company all the way.

Enjoy a challenge, classing myself as a very, very occasional runner, recently completed the Great North Run, which was amazing.

The 24hr 3 peaks challenge, which I personally did in 24… and a bit hrs, not before helping others also reach the 3 peaks along the way though!

I have spent the last 10 years coaching grassroots sports and giving a little back which has been extremely rewarding watching the development of our own children while helping others.

We're thrilled to welcome Tiernan to Procurement Hub and look forward to the experience, insight, and leadership he will bring to the team. His focus on strengthening customer partnerships and creating long-term value will help support our members and shape the future of Procurement Hub.
