Following the success of the completion of Rosewood Terrace, Willmott Dixon Interiors has revamped it’s second inpatient mental health rehabilitation unit at St Michael’s hospital, in Warwick, on behalf of Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust.
Hazelwood was completed in September 2022 providing modern facilities for patients. The works consist of replacing fire doors and loft hatches, and the installation of a new smoke detector system. All ventilation grilles and radiator covers have been updated, and the building has been redecorated throughout.
The 6-week project was procured through our Major Projects Framework and delivered by a team including Fulkers Bailey Russell as Quantity Surveyor and Design Buro as principal designer.
- Work carried out in a live environment; team liaised with stakeholders to ensure they were aware of each step of the programme.
- Noisy works were planned in advance and alternative ways carried out to avoid disruption.
- Weekly meetings conducted with staff and ward managers to ensure clear up to date communication was provided.
