Welcome to the Team, Leanne Day!

PH New Team Member Socials (Blog Banner 985X410) Leanne Day

We are excited to announce the addition of Leanne Day to our team as the new Head of Consortium Services

With her extensive experience and passion for driving innovation, Leanne will be instrumental in future growth and strengthening our services as we continue to deliver exceptional value to our members and suppliers.

Leanne joins us with a wealth of knowledge, having held various leadership roles throughout her career, which includes both the public and private sector, providing her with both in-dept knowledge, experience and expertise. Her expertise in developing and managing collaborative partnerships will be invaluable.

To celebrate Leanne's arrival, we asked her a few questions about her career and interests outside of work:

Welcome to the team Leanne, what are you looking forward to most about your new role at Procurement Hub?

Procurement Hub has all the ingredients you require when looking to make that move within your career. Brilliant leadership, amazing people with a clear focus on what the business wants to achieve and aspirational growth – for the right reasons. I am so excited to start building on all the great achievements that Procurement Hub has accomplished already, supporting the team to ensure that we continually excel in becoming the leading procurement vehicle for the public sector, supporting our members, suppliers and most of all doing the right thing for the charities and communities that we can support.

Can you share a bit about your background and what to expect from you joining the team?

I am lucky to have a career spanning both the public and private sectors, which has provided me with experiencing both sides of the table when it comes to procurement. Understanding the pressures and barriers that local authorities face along with the rigorous selection process that partners go through to be able to be able to supply their services will support Procurement Hub’s ambition to support members in removing the noise and complexities around procurement. The ability to provide a quick, adaptable, simple yet robust and compliant route to market is key. The relationships we hold with our members and suppliers is essential and this will be a main focus of mine.

Tell us a bit about yourself, in your spare time, what are some of your hobbies or interests?

I enjoy most sports either playing or watching but it’s mainly watching these days, however I am still managing to drag myself round a netball court a couple of times a week! A few more knee straps and braces are required but it is still very much a passion of mine.

I also moonlight as a taxi driver/ personal assistant for my 12 year old daughter.

Where's your happy place?

In the shed in a thunderstorm. The shed is our term for the office we built in the garden during lock down. There’s something very grounding about being out in the elements.

And finally, what’s your superpower or something people wouldn't know about you?

I love food, especially curry.

So, we adopted a personnel mission to become curry connoisseurs of the North. 6 months, 14 curries (quarter and semi finals included) and elasticated waistbands a staple daily clothing choice. We’ve achieved it!

Who won I hear you ask – let’s take that offline.

We are thrilled to have Leanne join our team and look forward to her contributions to Procurement Hub's continued success. Please join us in welcoming her and wishing her all the best in her new role.
